Apparatus

CCDR currently owns and operates the following apparatus......

  • Dive Support 13 - a 1984 Chevrolet P-van, designed to support the specific needs of the divers. DS13 was originally purchased in 1991. It started it life in rescue following retirement as a Snap-On truck.
  • Our members built-out the interior to include;
    • 4kw Generator
    • 30,000btu Propane heater
    • 40 gal onboard water tank
    • Hot water
    • 4 Bottle Cascade System to fill scuba tanks on-scene
  • In 2007 the interior was stripped and re-built in house
  • Unit was repainted in 2010 to match the other apparatus

  • Dive Rescue 13 - 2009 Ford F-350 with Reading utility box. This unit is setup for rapid response and to tow our SONAR boat. The utility box has a custom made pull out Extendo Bed that carries several sets of dive gear ready to go.
